Akoleid

Akoleid
Alignment: Darkened
Pantheon: Tenebris
Common

No one truly knew if Akoleid existed until recently. Photographs, oral legends, sighting accounts… All “evidence” seemed to be hoaxes, created for attention. One summer solstice, when the temperature reached a record high, many of these creatures rose from their homes on the ocean floor and migrated to land. Little information is known about these amphibious creatures, but the stark rise in their popularity has encouraged most Akoleid to sink under the sea once again.

Aquas

Aquas
Alignment: Lightened
Pantheon: Lux
Common

A rather pacifistic species, the amphibious Aquas has never once been at war with humans. With a gentle disposition and benevolent reputation, Aquas have assisted humans and creatures alike in various tasks and projects throughout all of history, both marine and terrestrial. They have the unique power of shapeshifting, though most prefer to stick to their true forms. A common legend holds that Aquas take the shape of human bodies and influence crucial decisions by whispering in the ears of kings.

Caspensis

Caspensis
Alignment: Darkened
Pantheon: Tenebris
Common

With hooves strong enough to crush an Akoleid’s shell and a tail strong enough to change currents, the Caspensis is not a creature to be underestimated. Though they tend to keep to themselves, Caspensis will not hesitate to invoke the wrath of the gods if provoked. They are the swiftest creatures in the sea, though they can’t be considered as graceful on land. They say that no one who fights a Caspensis emerges victorious, and Caspensis are more than proud enough to entertain that rumor.

The Deatile has become a legend in T’enelm and is often heard in old wives’ tales, reminding adolescents and adults alike to watch their steps.

Dejaroo

A prankster at heart, the Dejaroo is famously adored by the general population and is portrayed on much merchandise.
