(BETA v0.5.7; 2025-08-01 - 2025-08-18)
  • Energy will now cycle between 0 to 10 instead of 1 to 10 in Colosseum. Additionally, energy restoration has been adjusted to where familiars' energies will regenerate even while you are offline.
  • Bug where blessings could "wake" your familiar out of resting has been resolved.
  • Colosseum's Gladiator Opponents, such as Hyss, have received adjusted stats based off observation of Gladiator Rankings.
  • Elemental Bet Luck Game will now implement a set minimum and maximum to bet.
  • Pence cap has been set to 999,999,999 Pence. If your account or bank account exceeds this amount, no worries! You just will not be able to gain additional Pence in Games.
  • Games will now display a warning if you are close to or have exceeded the Pence limit.
  • PC Only: notification and message icon will slightly scale up if you hover over them.
  • Bank account and wallet will now display Gladius Coins (GC). A way to make use of GC will be available once the Gladius Shop and Armory are finished
  • Cards in Colosseum have been adjusted design-wise for Fire Fox browsers.
  • Hyperlinks added to cards in order to better assist users in caring for their familiars. Additionally, restricted actions on cards have been removed until further notice.
  • Experience Point (XP) handout in Colosseum, during victories, has been adjusted.
  • More Gladiator Opponents in Colosseum will appear that are above your most experienced familiar's current level.
  • Notifications for wall comments on profiles improved (bug that causes duplicate alerts for the original commenter is being worked on)
  • Editing of original comments within a wall comment thread has been applied.
  • Order of wall comments within a thread has been adjusted to where the latest displays at the top.
  • Armory, which is currently restricted to Alchemists, allows equipping of items that will boost familiar's stats as long as the item remains equipped.
  • Gladius Shop, which is currently restricted to Alchemists, will now honor the restocking schedule implemented by all Markets.
  • Forums (Symposium), which is currently restricted to Alchemists, implements pagination, displays categories, subcategories, and threads alongside an updated design; user's specialized styling of posts supported, and tagline and signature support applied.

Thanks to a user reporting the bug via our Discord server and/or Contact Us form, I was able to resolve the "Sick" debuff that has occurred for some familiars as soon as I woke up and saw their message. Though such a debuff did not occur for any familiars that this was tested on (1 of which is now bravely testing out the Shelter, goodbye Calcifer), it has been completely removed from Colosseum's validation logic until further notice.

Note

The following are currently restricted to Guides:

  • Colosseum: Planned release is end of this week. It may or may not include skills. Other associated features, such as Gladius Shop and Armory will be postponed. Talk of Gladiator, Skills, Match, Opponent, or Level or Battle system are associated with Colosseum.
  • Apothecary: Will be released alongside Colosseum.
  • Guild: Registration for the Adventurer's Guild will be released alongside Colosseum, but other Guild functions will be postponed.
  • Mytho Lotto: Lottery system is currently being refactored and is therefore unavailable.
Changes

  • Profile comment wall re-enabled; mentions temporarily removed due to character validation issue.
  • Level system maximum set to 15.
  • Issue where familiar could get stats raised well over expectation during level up resolved.
  • Apothecary will now restore Mana and Health, and Apothecary can also restore all familiars instead of just one at a time.
  • Opponents, or Gladiators, in Colosseum have had their stats refactored.
  • Additional Gladiators added.
  • Issue where opposing Gladiator could not cast correct magickal attack has been resolved.
  • Skills that apply buffs appear to work as expected, but stacking of buffs and debuffs is not yet supported.
  • Satchel will now display all of an item's attributes when it comes to care or battle stats.
  • Design adjusted for Gladiator Cards.
  • Colosseum keeper's dialogue updated.
  • Guild's other features and Armory have been set to restricted.
  • User profiles redesigned and adjusted for Youtube Media.
  • Mytho Lotto will be released in Luck Games some time next month.
  • Gumball Machine added to Luck Games.
  • Hangman added to Puzzle Games.

Colosseum Works-in-Progress
  • Implementation of debuff skills that do not apply a "damage over time" and instead prevent certain actions from being made, such as debuff "Stunned" and "Fearful," required.
  • Skill implementation from Familiar when Familiar gets to go after the opponent due to lower dexterity is a bit wonky; doesn't always get to finish applying the skill.
  • The level 5 opponent is too strong; therefore, it must be nerfed.
  • Level cap of 10 should be increased.
  • Disclaimer: Gladius Shop, Armory, Adventuring Parties, and Training Hall will not be released alongside Colosseum and Guild.


Changes

  • Removed all stat displays from the Familiar Side Bar.
  • Adjusted battle stats to where they will be increased if an item used on a Familiar in Interact/Satchel is associated with Health, Mana, Wisdom, or Energy.
  • Energy cycle implemented in order to act as a Colosseum and future exploration cooldown. Live timer applied during Colosseum if a Familiar is "resting" due to Energy of 1 or 0.
  • Colosseum design adjusted, and the ability to choose the amount of turns per Gladiator Match has been implemented.
  • Actions in Gladiator Match that have been tested extensively: Physical Attack, [sic] Magickal Attack, Defend, Wait, and Flee
  • Actions that require Mana/MP are checked against current familiar's mana (e.g. Magickal Attack and Skill), and will appear grayed out if that action cannot be taken due to Familiar's low Mana.
  • Opponent successfully decides if it wants to Physical Attack, Magickal Attack, Defend, or Wait.
  • Evasion and Defend chance have been improved based upon extensive testing alongside skills.
  • Skills have been completely refactored. Users will be able to change their skills for free during first participation of Colosseum.
  • Skills that only apply damage have been implemented successfully.
  • Skills that temporarily buff stats have been implemented successfully.
  • Turn order is now honored by opponent, and if either opponent or Familiar fall then the Match will end.
  • Colosseum stats are updated accordingly based upon the turn's outcome. This update has removed logged in user's session data as it caused issues when they left the Match and returned.
  • Match Outcome design implemented along with provided reward(s) based upon the outcome (e.g. victory, defeat, draw).
  • Turn logic has been significantly improved, but will require readjustment when either Gladiator is "Stunned," "Fearful," or "Intimidated."
  • Character dialogue is being implemented for NPCs in Markets and in Colosseum.
  • Issues with Cranberry Tea item should now be resolved.
  • Notification and Conversation alerts will now update live every X seconds so the user no longer has to refresh their page (though they still can, if they so wish).

  • Inserted 400+ items back into Mythodreas manually. Descriptions will be redone at a later date. We still have many more items to add.
  • Stats will gradually be displayed for all items, and majority of holiday items will now be able to be used with your Familiar.
  • A Junkyard is being added to the to-do list which will allow Wanderers to sell useless items generated by the item incident for a fraction of the base price.
  • Fetch Traders will now reappear, but they will no longer have their own separate currency. They will appear in Markets. Note that Fetch cannot yet be equipped at this time until Colosseum is released.
  • Popout windows are gradually being replaced by modals.
  • Reconstructed Satchels during item inventory issue.
  • Overhauled shops/stalls (renamed to Markets) to where shopkeepers have a new look and feel.
  • Market stock will have a set limit and will refresh at certain times. Additionally, some markets will be closed to allow the shopkeepers to take a break.
  • Prices of items in markets will now fluctuate. The original price can be seen during haggling. Haggling will no longer be a fixed rate where you can always assume that going X under will work.
  • Issue where Ajax had nothing to say during haggling has been resolved.
  • Inserted 45 Red Apples and waters to all users to compensate for inventory issue.
  • Sinnisin's stock has been updated to involve all drinks that are non-holiday. She will continue to sell all drinks until another market pops up.
  • Market stock limits have been adjusted (excluding the Fetch-R-Us).
  • Games have been redesigned, and Acanthus Quest has been redesigned and released. Other questing games will be released later.
  • Dreas International Bank redesigned. Although it can be found during Exploration, due to art still being needed for Exploration, bank has has also been added in the Account Settings navigation. You can also click your "Pence:" to be redirected to it. Issue were it got stuck in "Processing" has been resolved.
  • Baby stat decay issue resolved.
  • Food Pantry redesigned. Although it can be found during Exploration, due to art still being needed for Exploration, Food Pantry has been added to the "Help" navigation.
  • Forums is undergoing a redesign and is expected to be released when Colosseum is released. I anticipate that this will get the site out of "Beta." Though I'd like to have more scenery art available before that.
  • I am exhausted.
